About the Event
Amira Dance Productions is bringing its 47th annual dance show to the Crown Uptown Theatre on March 5. You'll be mesmerized by the variety of colorful costumes, amazing props and eclectic music in this year's show called "Dance Odyssey: Turn the Page." The theme embodies the aspects of characters brought to life, imaginations sparked and the historical standing of Amira Dance Productions, which is Wichita's longest-running community dance studio.
Tickets are $35 for prime seating and $25 for general seating. No reserved seats. Crown Uptown Theatre COVID-19 protocols apply.
About Amira
Founded in 1974 as a studio teaching Middle Eastern dancing, commonly known as belly dancing, ADP has grown to include about a dozen groups of different dance styles, including belly dancing, Polynesian, Americanized fusion styles and ballroom. The studio, located at 1702 W. Douglas in the Delano district, offers class instruction and entertainment for hire.
